I have been a busy little kitty this December! First off, I finished my prelims! I dunno if my grades are high though. Is it weird for me not to care? 0_0 Anyways, moving on to the more merrier part of my December.

• I recently joined Academy of Heroes on deviantART. Its an art community wherein you can design your own character that can go as a student into a fictional academy. Kinda like Harry Potter with Hogwarts. We also get sorted into different houses (Roseus, Incarnatus, Azureus, Virens, Flavescens and Violaceus) , but we get to choose which house we want to be in. I first chose to be in the Violaceus house but there weren't any slots left so I was put in Flavescens! I love the Flavescens house! So many cute characters there. BTW, here's my character. • Last December 18, my org, Caduceus News Organization had a Christmas party. We exchanged gifts! I got these cute pens. It's too bad only a few of us were able to attend, the others were busy with their remaining exams. We had some fun karaoke after! I love my CNO Family. ^_^



• Yesterday was my boyfriend's birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY AGAIN DEE. He's 21 now! I gave him a bag as a gift. I hope he likes it. *W* He gave this super cute purple hoodie as a Christmas gift! I'm actually wearing it right now! Thank you dee, I love it! ^///^ I'll take pictures next time of the jacket!

Yesterday was also our Church's Christmas party! After going to my bf's house I went to the Christmas party. I had tons of fun on the games! We played Pinoy Henyo! I had the shortest time to guess a word! 4 seconds baby! XD The I had a bag as a gift from my churchmate Chok! Thank you WINsters for a wonderful time! I enjoyed the food too! ;D

• OMG! Before I forget. I wanna share something. I subscribed to Michelle Phan on YoutTube and she has the most amazing tutorials on hair, make up and fashion. One of my favorite vids of her is the Paper Bag Curls tutorial. Its a great alternative in curling your hair without using heat that burns your hair. I've tried it and it works wonders. I love it!

Oh my gosh. Hidekaz Himaruya, the author of Hetalia, posted something new on his blog today!


In this picture we can see Denmark, Japan, Netherlands and Cameroon.
And oh boy am I fangirling over Netherlands!

That's right, Netherlands and Cameroon are added to the list of Hetalia characters! Gosh, I cannot describe how much I love Netherlands' hair. He's practically shot up into my list of fave characters. I might draw him tonight if I'm in the mood. I love him! And also, I'm glad Himaruya drew Cameroon! He made a black nation-tan alongside Cuba! I love his little glasses and he looks very manly. I can't wait to see how Himaruya uses them in comic strips. I wonder what their personalities are like. Hetalia fans all over the world are exited. \ (^O^) /

Oh hai guys, I got glasses!

Yeah, because I have worn out my eyes from too much net surfing. Gellie, you're so abusive with your body! >8( Take care of yourself more! Oh well, lesson learned again. So yeah, at first I thought I'd look like a total nerd with glasses on but I kinda look nice. :) I like it, it doesn't look bad at all. But I'm still getting used to having these "borders" in my sight. Its a different feeling. BTW, I didn't know MYX (as in myx music channel) had a line of frames for glasses. I got MYX glasses coz they were cheap but still looked good on me.



Does having glasses make you smarter? IDK. But I feel smart. I only feel smart, I'm not really! I'm average! Hahaha. ^3^

I recently suffered from Urinary Tract Infection or UTI. Gawd, did it hurt like hell. I also went to the bathroom to pee more than often. UTI is gained by eating too much salty foods, junk foods and carbonated drinks. I blame my ugly diet. I don't eat too much vegetables and I always drink cola. Its also the reason why I'm getting fat. Dammit. My bf and I researched on the net for a remedy. A lot of websites suggested the consumption of Cranberry juice. We tried it, and it worked! The pain lessened and I can control my bladder. Now, I don't drink carbonated drinks and I also prefer to eat vegetables over chips. I have learned my lesson. I am forever grateful to Cranberry juice.

I watched 2 movies this November! Namely, 2012 and New Moon. Two of the most anticipated movie releases of 2009. I was more excited to watch 2012 because I'm not much of a Twilight fan. :P Hehehe. So here are some of my views on it.


End of the world. Is it real? Well according to some experts, yes, the world is nearing it's expiry date. And oh boy, is it near. Merely 3 years from now, on December 21, 2012, the world as we know it will cease to exist. So this movie was made from those speculations. Making a movie about the end of the world is always interesting, people are always curious of how life on earth will end. So this movie gained a lot of popularity before it's premiere. For me, the movie was a great disappointment. I was expecting more from this production. For a person who has watched a 2012 documentary, I could say that this movie really lacked the facts and relied too much on special effects. Don't get me wrong, I loved the special effects used, my palms were all sweaty because I gripped my fists too much from all the suspense going on. Wow, it was really intense. The CGI was the best thing about this movie, its recommendable to people who like to watch amazing visuals of destruction. But for plot development, nah... I was disappointed with the lack of Nostradamus. After all, he's the one who predicted the earth's expiration date. So where was he in the entire 2 hours? It would have been better if he was mentioned and elaborated. All in all, the movie was okay, it was a visual spectacle but yeah... It immensely lacks plot development and realism.


New Moon! Part two of the Twilight saga. Ohyeah. As I've said I'm not really a Twilight fan. I don't hate it and I don't worship it. I just watch it. The movie was well... cheesy and emo. Bella is such an emo when it comes to Edward. LOL. I laughed at the part where the camera as spinning on Bella as months passed by. Actually I was laughing much of the time when I watched it. It was too cheesy. My bf and I were snickering and people were looking at us. I loved the wolves part, I find them cute! Hahaha. I love dogs, any kind. Taylor (Jacob) really looks cute with shorter hair. If I had to pick, based on looks, I'd say Jacob. Edward looks too white in this film, while Jacob has ABS. Nuff said. I liked the film but it was cut too short. Bitin. I dunno why but I don't feel any different from when I watched the first film. I guess the Twilight series isn't really my thing. I don't like the predictabilty of it and the character's idiosyncrasies that make it look unrealistic. But it is a love story, so its meant to be that way and it still proves to be worthy to it's avid fans.

That's all I have to say about these flicks. GAAAH. \(>.<)/ I want to watch more films!

We moved back into our house! YAY! Which means I get to go on the net more! *evil grin* Though our house is all cleaned up there are still some traces of the flood that lasted for over a month. Our wooden cabinets are totally wrecked. The wooden doors can't close up anymore because the wood became enlarged. I'm so glad we're back because I missed our house a lot. That also means that I get more space. I have my own room again! I just cleaned my room today and put away some stuff. I can't believe I threw away a lot of things that I don't use anymore. I should be back with more updates here in my blog. Including 2 movie reviews, namely 2012 and New Moon. Some other stuff that I'd like to talk about. Hmm. There's a lot! Anyways, ciao! ;)

Drawings!

I'll be updating this blog to reveal my latest drawings. I tried a new coloring style in my several pathetic attempts. I need to practice on drawing again. I don't have much time to draw. It seems that I waste my time being idle.

I draw mostly at night. I'm really active during the night rather than day time because I'm a vampire! My dad keeps on telling me that I'm gonna kill myself in sleeping late. But this is how I am, I love the night. Its more quiet, serene and not to mention colder than day. I hate working on hot temperatures and I don't like too much brightness. So yeah, call me a vampire. Hehe! ^^

Oh yeah! Before I forget these pictures were all taken by my phone, so all of them are blurry. I'm planning to scan some of the works that I think are good enough and post them on my dA.



• This is the first pic that I tried with a new coloring style. The character in pic is cute but I drew a hideous background for her so I cropped this one. Heehee.




• This is my second attempt and frankly my favorite. He's really cute.

• RAINBOW HAIR. Awesome idea but I didn't pull it off like I wanted to. Every time I wanna draw something it always turns out very different from what I really want want it to look like. *frustrated face*



•I'm currently working on this one for my original story. Looks really sweet.
